Business Development and Sales Intern

Full Job Description

We are seeking a talented Business Development and Sales Intern to support our Government Sales team in the pursuit of relevant RFQs, RFPs, bids, and contracts to accelerate our ability to capture government sales in traditional and nontraditional ways. The Government Sales Intern will work alongside our Government Sales team to identify, complete, and submit successful RFQs, RFPs, bids, and contract applications to put our product in front of government buyers. The intern will be responsible for the end-to-end process, including gathering feedback and insights to guarantee customers’ success and follow up with previously submitted applications. This is a full-time remote internship.

Responsibilities

  • Identify RFQs, RFPs, bids, contracts and other relevant applications
  • Fully understand RFQs, RFPs, bids, contracts and other relevant applications’ requirements; Collect the relevant information to make a successful application; Apply and follow up with next steps
  • Refine approach for drafts writing and define discriminators, themes, features and benefits
  • Engage with government clients and potential clients to evaluate needs and promote our products and services
  • Understand company capabilities, and identify B2G products and/or services where we have competitive advantages and disadvantages
  • Support the Government Sales team in its mission to attract government buyers

Qualifications

  • Experience and/or interest in government procurement or related fields
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, self-starter with attention to detail
  • Ability to work with agile teams remotely
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a creative mindset
